Deen Media, the holding company for Deen Channel and Deen Times, the TV Channel and Newspaper, will introduce several exciting projects to the public this year. As we say goodbye to the first month of 2019, the television broadcaster is already on its feet as they prepare for the launch of their latest project called Deen Talks. This coming a month after the launch of Deen Times.
Faizal Sayed CEO of Deen Channel explains the exciting opportunity that will involve local and international speakers on a platform that allows for diverse opinion, intellectuality and thought to blossom.
The programme is a live event lecture and discussion platform that will be held in auditoriums around South Africa and will consist of several speakers focusing on critical, diverse and innovative matters that affects the Muslims populace and broader of the region.
Sayed says the platform is devoted to spreading ideas and opening discussion in the form of short talks and can range from religion, science, social matters and more.
The event will host speakers from various persuasions in short 15 minute talks with 4 speakers per event. Deen Talks will have members of the public attending the talks whilst it is being recorded for television telecast.
In a brief interview, Sayed stated that Deen Talks will launch at the end of March 2019
